”She’s Leaving Home is a Beatles tribute band from southern Finland that brings a unique twist to the Fab Four’s classic songs. Featuring a female lead vocalist, keyboard-driven arrangements, and most notably, no guitars. Their performances offer a fresh and exciting reinterpretation of the Beatles’ sound.
Myyri Ruokolahti leads on vocals, joined by Riddo Ridberg on keyboards, Anton Elmvik on bass, and Oliver Tschernij on drums and additional keyboards. The band has performed at International Beatleweek in Liverpool multiple times, as well as in the USA, at Niterói Beatle Week in Rio de Janeiro, in St. Petersburg, Russia, in Belgium, and of course across Finland.
If you’re looking for note-for-note Beatles covers, this isn’t for you. But if you’re open to a bold, refreshing take—welcome aboard.
